ANAHEIM — SAP AG and the Americas’ SAP Users’ Group (ASUG) today announced the availability of an exclusive initiative called the “Ultimate Choice Program.” The program is designed to help ASUG members realize superior performance, reliability and efficiency from SAP Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise (SAP Sybase ASE) while lowering total cost of ownership. The announcement was made at the ASUG SAP BusinessObjects User Conference, being held September 9-11 in Anaheim, Calif.
The Ultimate Choice Program offers ASUG members running SAP Business Suite software three attractive ways to save with SAP Sybase ASE while streamlining an upgrade path to the SAP HANA platform:
- A three-year enterprise license with unlimited SAP Sybase ASE deployment during the term
- Up to a 40 percent services credit that can be used for implementation services or databases migration services from the SAP Consulting organization
- One hundred percent investment protection for eligible customers on SAP Sybase ASE licenses toward SAP HANA licenses for a period of three years at no additional cost

Synchronized product release cycles that avoid unnecessary upgrades will assist in saving on support costs, while rapid-deployment solutions help enable customers to get up and running quickly. Integration with other SAP products, such as SAP HANA, provides data management technology that delivers extreme value by leveraging evolving processor, memory, storage and network technologies to provide a platform for next-generation applications.
